Maple’s Triplet Bucklings

Maple easily delivered three bucklings on February 7th. After freshening three Prosecco daughters and seeing their gorgeous udders and large teats, I knew he would be a perfect match for Maple to produce correct udders and large, easy to milk teats. While we didn’t get any doelings this year, two of her bucklings are available as a herd sire.

Cabochon PB Mapleshade 4*M VVEE 90, comes from a line of proven milkers and has a beautiful, correct udder with soft, easily expressed teats. We’ve retained two doelings from Maple and both have won Grand Champion at the very first show they attended.

Cabochon XY Prosecco, has Superior Genetics awards on both sides of his pedigree. He has strong dairy character with great angularity and openness. Prosecco’s dam, SGCH Carl B’s OH Sweet Champagne *M (EX VEEE 91). is a permanent champion, has a Superior Gentics designation and milked more than 900 pounds last lactation. We have three Prosecco daughters in our herd and all have beautiful udders with large, easy to milk teats.

Maple’s Triplet Doelings

Maple delivered three beautiful blue eyed doelings on February 25th. I really like the pedigree on these kids and expect them to be nice milkers with correct udders and large, easy to milk teats. This girls will be be 5th generation milk star does if put on milk test.

Their sire, Cabochon ZZ Sweet William *B, has produced some exceptional daughters. His daughters have multiple show wins and production awards including a Superior Genetics Grand Champion daughter, SGCH Cabochon Petit Sirah 2*M

Their dam, Cabochon PB Mapleshade 4*M VVEV 88, comes from a line of proven milkers and has a beautiful, correct udder with soft, easily expressed teats. Maple’s 2018 doeling, Cabochon XY Sassafras 5*M , won Grand Champion Jr Doeling at her very first show.

Maple’s Twin Doelings

Maple delivered a sweet pair of twin doelings on March 18th. I really like the pedigree on these kids and expect them to be excellent show prospects as well as nice milkers. This girls will be be 5th generation milk star does if put on milk test.

Their sire, Cabochon ZZ Sweet William, has produced some exceptional daughters. We kept three daughters from his kid crop and between them they achieved three Grand Champion wins, one Reserve Grand Champion and a Superior Genetics award.

Mapleshade’s Twins

Mapleshade delivered buck/doe twins on Saturday morning, February 24th. The doeling was giving her first-time mom problems by trying to come into the world with her head tilted sideways. Poor Maple was doing her best but we finally had to push the girl back inside enough to re-position her head and then she came out okay with just a little traction. After that her smaller brother entered the world with much less drama. We are planning to retain a Xylo daugher this year, so we won’t be offering this girl for sale until all of the does bred to Xylo have kidded.
