NOTE: Adult does are available only in pairs – either with another doe or with a kid. Moving to a new home is very stressful for a goat and moving with a buddy significantly decreases the stress and increases the doe’s health and wellbeing. This is in the best interest of both the goats and our customers.

Cabochon CN Calculus

This doe is bred to be an excellent milker and she looks like she will have nicely placed teats which is a hallmark of their sire.. Her dam is Cabochon DP Sea Ice 4*M ELITE, who produced 1,074 on her first lactation. This year she made the ADGA Elite list as a second freshner.
Her sire, Cabochon DJ Casanova *B, is the son of GCH (pending) Liberty Star Acres Annabelle 2*M EEEV 90 who has exceptional longevity, winning her latest Grand Championship at 11 years old at the highly competitive Bluff Country show. This doe has a lot of potential for both the show ring and production. Their dam, Cabochon PR Polka Dot, has a beautiful first freshener udder with excellent rear udder attachement and lovely, easy to milk teats. Polka Dot earned her grand champion junior leg and then broke her right rear leg a couple weeks later with a sever spiral facture. After several weeks in a cast, she healed well but has less angulation in that leg now. Even with that disadvantage, Polka Dot took home a first place in the yearling milker class at her first show in 2023. Polka Dot peaked at 4.2 lbs and has continued strong milking 3.5 lbs at 114 DIM.
Her sire is Ibn is, Cabochon WS Ibn Battuta *B, an AI kid sired by SG Heaven’s Hollow Winter Soldier +B. Ibn has incredibly soft dairy skin, open ribbing, a tight front end assembly and beautiful angularity. He was one of those kids that was gorgeous from the day he hit the ground.
Ibn’s dam, GCH (penidng) Cabochon Amelia VEEE 91, is a beautifully angular doe with excellent capacity and one of the best foreudders in the breed scoring 41 on Linear Appraisal. Amelia milks more than 1,100 pounds in a lactation.

SGCH Carl B’s OH Sweet Champagne *M (EX VEEE 91) is a permanent champion, has a Superior Gentics designation and milked more than 900 pounds last lactation. She earned her SG award on her very first lactation. She finished her permanent championship and scored 90 on LA at only 3 years old and then went on to score Ex 91 at four years old.. She has a 2:1 PTI of 112 and a 1:2 PTI of 123!
Champagne’s daughter, SGCH Cabochon Petit Sirah 2*M (VEEE90) (dam to the buckling) is a second generation SGCH doe. She proved herself early in the show ring finishing her permanent championship as a three year old. She then maintained a extended lactation and appraised VVEE 90 while milking through- something that is quite rate in the Nigerian breed. Then improved her linear appraisal score the next year with a VEEE 90. Petit wrapped up her second lactation with 1,238 lbs after 496 days in milk.
Champagne’s son, Cabochon XY Prosecco, (Sire to the buckling) has Superior Genetics awards on both sides of his pedigree. He has strong dairy character with great angularity and openness. We have three Prosecco daughters in our herd and all have beautiful, well attached udders with large, easy to milk teats. Nigerian Dwarf Wethers For Sale
Wethers (castrated males) make great pets. Their friendly and inquisitive nature is a delightful addition to any farm. They also make great companions for a single doe or buck. Our pet wethers are $160 and are dewormed, vaccinated, disbudded and tattooed before leaving for their new homes. We provide a health care record for each goat and are available to help in the future for questions, advice or mentoring. Wethers are castrated either surgically or by burdizzo so they are healed before going home. We firmly believe this is a better experience for both the wether and his new family as compared to the complications that can result from banding.
