This doe is a rockstar! As a yearling she has already accomplished a Super Genetics designation (putting her in the top 15% of all Nigerians) and two Grand Champion wins toward her permanent championship. And she doesn’t just look pretty, she has a will to milk producing almost 800 pounds as a yearling first freshener and is on track to milk around 1200 pounds at maturity. Her large, soft, easily expressed teats are a joy to milk.
We waited three years for a doeling out of Dolly (Liberty Star Acres Annabelle 2*M) and Sierra was definitely worth the wait. Both her sire and dam have achieved EX90 on Linear Appraisal and those gentics show in Sierra’s lovely general appearance, structural correctness and dairy strength.
For 2019, Sierra is bred to MCH/CH Proctor Hill Farm IH Omega Red *S (VEE 90), grandson of the famous MCH Twin Creeks BH Bay Watch. Omega has won Grand Champion 11 times and Best Buck in Show 4 times. We are very excited for this pairing and hopeful Sierra gives us a daughter just as special as she is.
