Amelia has beautiful general appearance and excellent dairy strength and is maturing into a very hard working doe milking over 1,100 pounds in her third lactation with 6.4% butterfat. She is one of those classic does that just gets better and better as she matures scoring VEEE 90 as a four year old and then VEEE 91 as a six year old.
I really love Amelia’s foreudder – She scored a 41 in 2022. She also has good Rear Udder Height scoring 35 and her Rear Udder Arch scored a 35 as a four year old. Amelia consistently scores Es in her rear legs and Vs in rump.
We bred Amelia AI to the 2015 ADGA Spotlight Sale Nigerian Dwarf Buck, Heaven’s Hollow Sig Sauer and retained her buckling, Cabochon SIG Marco Polo *B. We bred Amelia AI again to SG Heaven’s Hollow Winter Soldier +B and retained Cabochon WS Ibn Battuta *B. Her daughter, Cabochon DI Nellie Bly 4*M, is proving to be an excellent milker producing 1,006 lbs in 290 days as a two-year-old second freshener.
