Novel delivered triplets on February 27th , one day short of the leap day delivery she had last year. I love the look of these kids and would love to see them go to a home that is interested in showing in the Miniature Dairy Goat Association virtual shows.
In addition to being show quality, these girls will be great family milkers. Mini Alpines average about 3/4 gallon of sweet, rich milk per day while eating only about a third of what a full size Alpine eats. They truly combine the best of the Alpine and Nigerian Dwarf breeds and are coveted by homesteaders wanting fresh milk and cheese.
Their dam, Carl B’s RP Novel *M (VEEE 90), scored an impressive Ex 90 on Linear Appraisal at only 3 years old with an Excellent in Mammary and Back. She has an exceptionally high rear udder and an excellent foreudder. Novel is an absolute sweetheart to have around the barn and is a joy to milk.
Their sire, Cabochon ZZ Sweet William *B , is out of a Superior Genetics VEEV90 doe and a VEE 90 buck. William already has a Superior Genetics Grand Champion daughter, SGCH Cabochon Petit Sirah 2*M (VVEE 90)
These kids will be registered with the Miniature Dairy Goat Association as first generation Mini Alpines and will be eligible to participate in MDGA shows and milk testing. The buckling is available as a herd sire.
