I was excited about this doeling before she was even born because she is line bred on our lovely SGCH Carl B’s OH Sweet Champagne *M VEEE 91 by Cabochon XY Prosecco. Polka Dot is everything you would want in a doeling – long, level and wide with tons of personality and eye catching coloring just for a bit of fun.
Polka Dot won her Jr leg with a Grand Champion at the Quad State Classic show in Iowa. Just a few days after returning home, Polka Dot broke her hind leg with a spiral fracture that required being in a cast for several weeks. Her leg has healed well but she does have less rear leg angulation on that leg now as a result.
As a yearling, Polka Dot milk 973 lbs in 290 days. (We had to dry her off before her full 305 because we bumped her kidding date to earlier in the year.) As a second freshener, her in progress record is 1,100 lbs at 259 days.
Polka Dot has some pretty impressive udder scores with a Rear Udder Height of 41, Rear Udder Arch of 37 and Foreudder attachement of 30.
