Diamond was easily our favorite first freshener of 2020. Her personality is a joy, she has a gorgeous udder with easy to milk teats, she earned first place in every class she showed in, and she earned ADGA Elite status. As a three-year-old, she earned her permanent championship taking grand in all three rings of the Best of the Midwest show in 2022.
Diamond’s pedigree is is consistent – both her dam and sire’s dam are Superior Genetics Grand Champions (SGCH) who have proven themselves in the show ring and on the milk stand. She also has two grand dams who are Superior Genetics does. Her littermate sister, Cabochon PR Indian Summer is also a permanent champion.
Diamond earned the 2025 Minnesota Dairy Goat Association’s Lifetime Production Leader award for the doe with the highest lifetime milk production record in the Nigerian Dwarf Breed in Minnesota with a total of 5,207 lbs. She will be adding to that total with her sixth lactation.
Her dam, SGCH Carl B’s Stormstruck 2*M (VEEE 91), milked over a 1,000 pounds on her last three lactations with an average butterfat of 6.2% and appraised “Excellent” on her mammary system.
Her sire’s dam, SGCH Carl B’s OH Sweet Champagne *M (VEEE 91), milked more than 900 pounds on her second lactation with an average of 7% butterfat and appraised “Excellent” on her mammary system.
