Epic is the son of our VEEE 90 Alpine doe, Carl B’s RP Novel *M. We knew immediately that he had the quality and conformation to be our first Mini Alpine herd sire. He’s just a gangly yearling in his photo but it’s already easy to see his ideal brisket, straight legs, beautiful rear leg angulation and strong topline. His first kids will be born in May 2021.
Finding quality mini alpines can be a challenge, which is why we take so much pride in our proven quality genetics. Epic’s dam, Novel, appraised Ex 90 at three years old including Excellent in mammary. His sire, Cabochon DJ Casanova *B, already has an Superior Genetics daughter. Casanova’s dam, Liberty Star Acres Annabelle 2*M, has proved her longevity with multiple Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion wins in the show ring along with Ex90 appraisals at seven and eight years old.
Mini alpines are a great choice for anyone who wants the perfect milk goat. They make more milk and have larger teats than a Nigerian, and their milk is sweeter than an Alpine’s. They get the best of both breeds with a little bit of hybrid vigor to top it all off.
