Unfortunately we lost Xylo to a very sudden onset pneumonia in 2018 but we are very thankful that we collected semen from him earlier in the year. Though we miss Xylo’s sweet personality and his grand beard, he will continue to sire kids for us. Semen straws are also available for purchase from us and through Blue Mountain Genetics.
I’m very excited to have this handsome boy as part of our herd. He comes all the way from the East Coast and brings exceptional bloodlines not found in our area. His dam, SG Pocket Sized TB Xara received her Superior Genetics designation in 2016 and she boasts a final LA score of VEEE 90 with an “E” for her rump which is rare for Nigerians and something I want to help improve in the breed.
I’m proud to announce that Xylo scored and “E” on his rump during his 2018 appraisal. We’re retaining two of his kids in 2018 and are excited to see how they grow. His daughter, Cabochon XY Sassafras, earned her first GCH win and junior leg in her very first show at only 3 months old.
